Position: Continuous Improvement Engineer
How long have you been with Minnovare?:
Not long enough (approx. 6 months)
What is your role at Minnovare?:
Identify and resolve areas for improvement for both product and process, to achieve vast operational periods without faults requiring products to be removed from service.
Talk us through your typical day:
Coffee, emails, meeting, another coffee dragged out for the next 3hrs while engaging the team for input with ongoing resolution work.
On the whole identify trends using data available or identify holes in that data which need to be filled, then figure out how to fill those holes. Use that data to direct continual improvement work.
What’s your proudest achievement at Minnovare?:
I’m withholding judgement pending future achievements but introducing a wine bag into standard processes was fairly interesting.
Where were you born and raised?:
Born Attadale, Perth. First memories were created in Dandenong VIC (some short but memorable years) and then back to paradise in Perth from the early 1990’s onwards.
What are your hobbies?:
Completing staff interviews and drought tolerant gardens.
Favourite place in the world?:
Australia – specifically Perth.
Give us your top five movies?:
James Bond – there’s more than 20 of them but both Blade Runner films were good.
