Quickly and accurately align a surface or underground exploration drill rig without the need for a surveyor, using Minnovare’s patented Azimuth Aligner. Currently deployed on over 100 underground mine sites and civil works projects, the Azimuth Aligner (AA) is the most accurate, most reliable exploration rig alignment technology in the world.
The AA is suitable for all exploration drilling applications – both mining and construction – including dam grouting, civil engineering and tunnelling projects. Simply turn the device on and align the rig to within 0.2 degrees accuracy in a matter of minutes. The AA clamps securely to the drill rod (suitable for PQ and BQ rod sizes), from where it connects wirelessly with the handheld Mobile Interface to show target vs actual Azimuth and dip readings, in real time, via the Minnovare CORE Mobile App.
The CORE Mobile App is a scaled version of the complete Minnovare CORE system – designed specifically for the drill operator. Once inside the CORE App the rig operator uses the Digi-Plan feature to recall and select each hole when performing an alignment, with the actual drill data entered back into Digi-Plan after the hole has been drilled – ready for syncing to Minnovare CORE at the end of every shift.

The AA is designed to be highly portable – suitable for transferring onto multiple drill rigs on a single site if required. The entire system packs down into a shock proof, easy-lift carry case suitable for heavy duty use. The system is designed to be maintenance free, with full support and training provided and back-up units available within 24hrs if required.
The AA Sensor is also unaffected by extreme cold or hot temperatures – making it suitable for even the most challenging environmental conditions.
