How long have you been with Minnovare?:

What is your role at Minnovare?:
My role is primarily as an on-site trainer for the use and upkeep of the Azimuth Aligner and Production Optimiser systems.This role also involves complex troubleshooting and technical support of both systems 24/7.
Talk us through your typical day:
No day is the same, as my role varies constantly. If I’m in the office, I’d be part of the morning meeting with our Operations Manager to talk through the ongoing tasks of the day. Those tasks could be anything from continuous technical support for site, troubleshooting faults, setting up and dispatch of valuable stores, assisting our workshop team with the building of our systems or putting together training and implementation plans for my next site visit.
If I’m on site. I’m either overseeing installation of our equipment on appropriate drill rigs, training and developing the knowledge of the drill operators, engineering teams and maintenance teams. Or most importantly, offering continuous support and training to ensure that our clients are up to speed.
What’s your proudest achievement at Minnovare?:
At the moment I’m just proud of the fact that my skills and my contributions are recognised by everyone in the company. It’s a good feeling.
Where were you born and raised?:
Born in Melbourne, moved to Brisbane at 11, moved to Sydney at 22 (military), moved to Perth at 30.
What are your hobbies?:
Playing video games, watching sports, gym, trying new foods.
